Researching and developing of alternative fuels for transport. Organising of all interested cooperators of project SFT ( Solar Fuels for Transport )

Short presentation of project SFT:

A) Producing of Hidrogen from solar heat by as low as possible price.
B) Hidrogen is too complicated to use in current technology; transfer, storage and consumption as well. Therefore it should be converted into methanol, DME or methane. In addition to H2 it could be used all other sources for converting into alternative fuels that they are biomass, all organic or anorganic waste with carbon content, or even fossil fuels (earth gas, oil) as auxiliary sources.
C) Those alternative fuels are very convenient for usage in current technology of transport and industry in general. Althow the technology of vehicles and vessels should be adapted to the new fuels anyway.

Design concept; At this level should be confirmed a Feasible study of all three segments.
Lab scale project; segments "A" and "C" should be tested for confirming a feasibility study in practice. At that level is a development of all needed equipment cruical.
Pilot project; would shows limites of effeciency & price. An equipment with all neeeded components would be designed and all processes would be researched.
Demo project; this means a design cut for all components. The results of all processes should be known. All costs of erection, operation and maintenance of new technology of alternative fuels should be known for investors and for end consumers as well.
Commercial project; should be realised in the widest range in pretty short period. That way the benefits from project SFT would be the largest.

The most effective reduction of greenhous gases (especially CO2) In this way is a none-carbon society a realistic goal.
Much cleaner exhaust comparing with current fossil fuels (absence of strong C-C bonds in molecules of new fuels)
Providing a solution for usage of alternative fuels also for heavy trucks and vessels.
Avoiding extremly high costs for the aaccompanying infrastructure for usage electric mobility and constructing of gas pipelines and additional equipment for LNG. Lower costs of mobility due project SFT would much better stimulate abanding of fossil fuels.
The EU economy would not be competitive with the rest of the world by producing expensive ecological vehicles and electrically powered vessels, while the rest of the world would produce competing conventional vehicles and vessels powered by fossil fuels. With project SFT we could avoid that and even boost an economical growth.
